I am the lord of fire who lives on truth
The lord of eternity, maker of joy
Against whom the otherworldly serpents have not rebelled
I am the god in his shrine, the lord of slaughter, who calms the storm
Who drives off the serpents, the many-named who comes forth from his shrine
The lord of winds who foretells the northwind
Many-named in the mouth of the ennead
Lord of the horizon, creator of light
Who illumines heaven with his own beauty
I am he! Make way for me
So that I shall see Niu and Amen
For I am a blessed spirit, equipped with otherworldly knowledge
I shall pass by the fearful ones
They cannot speak the spell which is on the end of the book-roll
They cannot speak for fear of him whose name is concealed
Who is within my body
I know him, I am not ignorant of him
I am equipped, excellent in opening portals
As for any man who knows this spell
He shall be like Re in the east of heaven
Like Osiris within the Netherworld
He descends into the entourage of fire
Thus he recounts all his beneficial deeds
When he created the world
And for the first time we also find him
Foretelling the end of this creation

We will wait and listen, we bend and worship
His name! His word is the last appeal
All glory to the son, our avenger
His empire has no end, shepherd of men
He made them his creatures to the last of time
They must remember
He shall command hecatombs
For the Gods
They shall commend food, for the Fathers
And cherish the sanctuary
Where the odor of incense and whisper of liturgy
Echo on earth the customs of heaven
Black-headed men will adore him on earth
The subjected shall remember their God
At his word they shall worship the Goddess
Let us hail him in his names
Let us hail him by his fifty names, one God
Fifty names

" On this recording Ninhursag remains true to the modern and aggressive style of black metal that he had established on his previous release. The production sounds very dark and raw while the lyrics cover Egyptian Pyramid Texts and Sumerian Tablets. In my opinion this is another great sounding recording from Ninhursag and if you are a fan of occult black metal, you should check out this

" The song does not grant too much respite with its pressing and brutal assault, which is also confirmed in the subsequent "The Hymn of the Fifty Names of Marduk", another nine and a half minutes of hypnotic black sounds that find peace in sporadic slowdowns with a tribal look "

" The second track of this release, The Hymn of the Fifty Names of Marduk is quite the opus. Nine and a half minutes yet it feels like it could stand on its own as a single track EP. The range of diversity in the guitars and drums kept me entertained and wasn’t bored at all as many of these types of releases can do to a person "
